No GP or nurse appointment needed.
Be Online Pharmacy’s NHS contraception service provides a convenient way to start or renew your contraceptive pill without the need to visit your GP or a sexual health clinic. The service is entirely free, including both the supply of the pill and home delivery.
Get started in 3 simple steps
Select a convenient date and time for a telephone consultation with one of our pharmacists.
Share some basic health information and complete your contraception review over the phone.
Once approved, your prescription will be arranged and delivered to your door at no cost.
This service is available if you’re currently using, or would like to start, oral contraception — either the progestogen-only pill (sometimes called the mini-pill) or the combined pill. You must be between your first period (menarche) and 49 years old, or up to 54 if requesting the progestogen-only pill.
Please note:
This service does not cover emergency contraception (e.g. the morning after pill) or other contraceptive methods such as injections or implants.
During your appointment, you’ll be asked to provide your height, weight, and possibly a self-recorded blood pressure reading.
If you're unsure whether this service is suitable for you, our team is happy to offer guidance.
